Infrared Sauna FAQs

Frequently asked Questions:

How does an infrared sauna benefit our bodies?

When we apply infrared light to the body we are charging our cells with their own energy. As such, metabolic processes speed up. The body doesn’t have to work as hard to produce the energy needed to maintain itself for its processes. As the body heats up to a mild fever of 99.0 degrees, the temperature our body starts to fight infection, we begin to sweat sparking a passive cardiovascular workout as the body naturally tries to cool itself.

The heart will have to pump harder to help cool the surface of the skin, you will begin to breath heavier as your body will require that you oxygenate the blood circulated at a faster pace throughout your body. The sweating is an important component. 20% of all sweat released during a far infrared sauna session contain harmful toxins that the body can’t normally process through the kidneys or liver. In a traditional or steam sauna only 3% of your sweat is toxins released from the body.

Why doesn’t steam or dry heat sauna produce more toxins from the body?

Steam and Dry saunas work on a principle called convention. Just like and oven it heats the air then heats the body. An infrared sauna works on a principle called radiant heat. Like standing in the sun on a cold winter day our bodies absorb far infrared light from the sun and we feel warmer.

When we unload these harmful toxins from the subcutaneous layer of fat through our skin, our bodies no longer have to work as hard to maintain a level of homeostasis. As such people find they lose weight, reduce allergies or hay fever, skin conditions such as acne or psoriasis are greatly improved or cleared altogether. Cancer cells with a heat shock protein of 70 or less die when exposed to infrared light. Residual or Latent viruses, bacteria and toxins from chemotherapy, lead, mercury, uranium, pesticides, drug abuse, nicotine, alcohol are released through the skin unloading the body of the job of having to contain these harmful toxins away from vital organs.

Who does an Infrared Sauna benefit?

The infrared sauna benefits everyone from infancy to deathbed. In neonatal units across the United State premature babies who have yet developed enough to maintain their own body temperature are placed in incubators using far-infrared light. In the elderly infrared sauna improves circulation, reduces pain, and helps maintain core body temperature for optimal body functioning and improving the overall quality of life.

Infrared Sauna treatments have been documented to show improvement for the following diseases and conditions:
Mercury Poisoning, Lymes Disease, COPD, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, chemical sensitivity, allergies, weight loss, wound healing, improved immunity, Cancer Therapy, Diabetes, Autism, Acne, Psoriasis, speed in healing time of sore muscles or strained ligaments, Pain Relief, Pain Management, Detoxification, Pretty much any disease that stem from toxicity will be improved when far infrared is applied to the body.

What are the Health Risks

There are no health risk associated with sauna use unless you have a blood clotting disorder or an advanced stage of lupus or multiple sclerosis or other nervous system disease that has affected the body’s natural ability to cool itself. You can never overdose on Infrared light as your body is only capable of absorbing enough for each cell and then it passes on harmless out of the body. Other risks include Dehydration.

Where are infrared saunas made?

Nearly all infrared saunas purchased in the USA come from China. If they are made in the USA or Canada then they have only imported everything and assembled in the USA. Where do infrared saunas go? How is a Celebration Sauna constructed?

What sauna woods are used in construction?

Our far infrared home saunas are made from high quality Grade A Canadian Hemlock or Grade A Canadian Cedar. The wood is specially kiln dried to prevent out-gassing, cracking and splintering as the wood heats up and cools down over time.

Biophotonic Heating Panels

Our infrared heaters are made using flexible nano-carbon and other proprietary materials to produce infrared light at a bandwidth of 8-10 microns.  Our competitor’s far infrared heaters emit a bandwidth of 5-15 microns. Our Biophotonic infrared technology has narrowed that bandwidth so that 87% of all infrared light emitted from our heating elements is 9.4 microns to match the human bodies identical infrared micron output of 9.4 in the form of body heat. All our carbon heating panels have a lifespan of 20,000 hours. Which boils down to an hour a day for 50 years.

Safety & EMF Shielding

All our saunas are equipped with EMF shielding and have ETL and CE safety certifications. Most saunas include radio/cd/mp3, chromo-therapy lighting, reading lights, interior/ exterior digital soft touch control panels, outdoor lighting, oxygen ionizer, towel rack, Backrest, cup holders.
